Jersey Strong at The Menlo Park Mall has been closed since Sunday – September 23 due to a plumbing issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have been working to resolve it.

The facility is currently closed for repairs and remediation, and will re-open on Monday – October 8, 2018. Here are additional details on the situation:

1. This is a plumbing related issue where a drain line in the Men’s Locker Room got clogged. It backed-up and created a small flood in a portion of the facility, that requires construction repair and professional remediation (cleaning & disinfection).

2. The facility has been closed since Sunday – September 23, 2018.

3. Repair and remediation commenced within hours of the incident occurring and as of September 25, 2018 we had full picture of the scope of the project and the projected timeline (Thank you to our VP of Facilities, Jimmy and team for jumping right on this!).

4. The facility will re-open on Monday – October 8, 2018 at 5am (with regular hours, classes and services in effect).

5. As a Member of Jersey Strong, we understand that this is a significant inconvenience — we fully appreciate your understanding and patience. Here’s what we’re doing:

  1. You will receive a prorated monthly dues credit for the period of September 23-30, 2018 (8 days monthly dues credit towards your next monthly dues bill).
  2. As noted above, the facility is scheduled to re-open on Monday October 8, 2018 at 5am (regular hours).
  3. If the facility re-opens according to plan, you will receive 7 days of free club access from October 8-14, 2018.
  4. You will then be billed on Monday October 15, 2018 for 50% of your regular monthly dues amount, minus your 8 days monthly dues credit from September 23-30, 2018.
  5. Your regular monthly dues billing will commence on November 1, 2018.
