The Jersey Strong Foundation

Giving Sure Feels Great

The Jersey Shore has always been a core part of the Jersey Strong culture.  Most of Jersey Strong's first clubs were built along the Monmouth and Ocean County shoreline.  The Jersey Shore is home to many Jersey Strong staff and  thousands of Jersey Strong members.

When Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey in the Fall of 2012, our mantra of “Jersey Strong” took on a new meaning for the residents of New Jersey and saw the creation of the Jersey Strong Foundation™.

Founded by the Roma Family, the Jersey Strong Foundation™ is a 501c3 public charity that provides funding and resources to people, families and communities in New Jersey who are healing from hardship, natural disaster and other tragedies.

Since Hurricane Sandy, the Jersey Strong Foundation™ has grown into a charitable organization that is led by Heidi Roma.  Under Heidi’s leadership as Chairperson, the organization has created partnerships and issued grants and donations to recovery organizations like Habitat For Humanity, Fulfill (formerly The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties), and The Monmouth County Long-Term Recovery Group.

To-date, the Jersey Strong Foundation has donated well over 1.3 million meals to those who need it most in our communities through our friends over at Fulfill (formerly The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties)!

Fulfill can distribute 3 meals for every $1 donated. Donate your time. Donate your energy. Donate what you can to make our community even stronger.
